I am one who prefers a better bang for your buck, and 980 Ti destroys every game at 1440p which makes it tempting, but would a 980 alone be a better bang for your buck? just looking at the reviews on guru 3d and trying to compare. http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/asus_geforce_gtx_980_poseidon_review,12.html

Im curious where this $530 980 TI is you speak of?  Sounds like a deal that shouldn't be passed up.

just looking on PCpartpicker

On Amazon, but Tax adds $38.18 so it kinda ruins the deal

OMFG you yanks and your awesome prices! We pay like $449 for a good factory oc 970GTX...

A base 980 over here is $666 ish

A 980ti .... $852 ......

I think if I were to SLI 980ti it would be cheaper to fly to US and buy them and fly home

Base price for a basic 980 TI is $650 and might get it slightly less on a sale.  The Poseidon does seem like an amazing price so you are saying $450 for the 980 vs closer to $800 for the water cooled 980TI.  Honestly the bang for the buck is the 980 I'd say but I also own the Water Cooled TI cause I opted for performance over bang for the buck.
