Power button not working

I have a ultra rouge m925 and a MSI gaming 7 

 

The power button on the pc doesnt seem to work after i installed my new case fan but the built in power switch on the motherboard starts it up. All cables are checked and plugged in. What could be the problem??

 

ALSO. there is a solid blue light on the motherboard and one is flickering on and off every 2 secounds

Did you try the reset swtich you could of got them mixed up

check if pwr connector is the right way on the motherboard connectors  and not reversed, else use a screwdriver to tip the motherboard pins together if it boots then the connector itself doesnt make contact

It was working before . it has been for 6 days. i installed a new case fan and it suddenly stops working

rly sounds like its just the mobo connection got loose or somthing, u sure u didnt move them while installing the fan?:PP
