Problem with printer

Hello. Last time i posted here, it was about some issues i had with adobe. But now when it's all over, i have other issue and this time it is with my printer. I connected my old Canon mp210 printer to my pc which is running windows 8.1 then i downloaded all the drivers from oficial canon website, but every time i try to launch MP navigator i get message "The scanner driver supported by this software is not installed.  Install it and then retry." I tried every solution i could find online, like going to TWAIN32 folder and deleting uneccesary files... then i tried looking for my web sites on MSN, but i couldn't find such file... i tried to redownload all the drivers multiple times, tried to run as adminstrator, change in which usb port printer is connected. Turned off printer, then installed drivers, or installed drivers, while printer was working but nothing fixed my issue. My reason why i'm using this printer and just not giving up is that it's the only one which prints in color, and i have deadline in university for which i need to use this printer. And i don't know what else to do... So please, i need your help.

Did you install the correct driver? And what's with this formatting?

My installed driver is MP210 series MP Driver Ver. 1.01 (Windows 8.1 x64/8 x64/7 x64/Vista64)... And MP navigator is this MP Navigator EX Ver. 1.08 (Windows 8.1/8.1 x64/8/8 x64/7/7 x64/Vista/Vista64/... Both programs are from canon usa web page, so i think that they are genuine... Another thing that i just noticed now and didin't mentioned in first post is that i have two TWAIN folders... one is 32 and other is 64... one contains wiatwain.ds and other samsung file... Samsung being my new laser printer, which unfortunately can't print in color, that's why i'm trying to get my old one to work... And what do you mean "And what's with this formatting?"
