I just assembled my new HICTOP Prusa I3 3D Printer, and although I really want to use it, I do not know how.

I haven't gotten very far; I installed the drivers onto my computer, loaded a random .stl file into Cura, and that is about it.

How do I send the G-Code of the file to my printer? I currently have it hooked up to my computer via USB-B to USB-A, and Windows 7 does recognize that there is a device plugged in, but it does not seem like it is as easy as "drag and drop."

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

In Cura you should be able to set up your printer settings. Bed size, extruder temps, heated bed temps (if applicable), and all of that. Then you should be able to click print in Cura. It might have some sort of other wording for it like "export". It does need to be sliced first by cura.

I figured that out eventually, but thanks!

I still haven't successfully printed yet though, and I think that's because the extruder is jammed. Do you know how I could clean one?
