So in my new build I'm planning to have a wireless network adapter since it will be too much trouble for me to route an ethernet cable all the way down to our basement where my room is. I looked around and saw many adapters with features and stuff that I don't really understand. Some was expensive and some was dirt cheap. Because I don't know much about these adapters, I really don't know what I should get. I want something that would be reliable, but not too expensive that it will make my wallet emptier than my heart. What would you guys suggest be the wireless network adapter I buy that would be reliable and able to have signal even being the source of the signal being obstructed?

edit: if you want the cream of the crop in terms of ac wi fi adapters, this is probably the best option

I'm willing to spend around 30-40 cad which is about 20-30 in usd. So yeah. I'm a bit on a tight budget as I'm spending most of it on a 980 ti.

This should be good for just average speed internet right? Hahaha. I wish I could spend 100 usd for the one you suggested though. Thanks man!
