BIOS flashing not working?

I need to and an SLIC table to my BIOS, so modded a BIOS and tried to flash(first time I ever did something like this, tutorial link: https://moonlightknighthk.wordpress.com/2015/03/09/how-to-mod-asus-uefi-bios/)

using Ez flash, but it said that the file was not a proper BIOS. So I gave up on that so instead I downloaded a BIOS .cap file from the official ASUS support website and it still said that it wasn't a proper BIOS! Someone please advise me on what to do. My nerves are shot right now.

 

(asked for a custom BIOS on the MDL forums )
