Recently build my PC, and for about half a month of using it my idle gpu temps are usually 23° to 25°. I have noticed today though that my idle temps have gone up to 30°. Yes I know there is nothing to worry about, 30° is a pretty low temp for an idle gpu, but I just wanted to know why the sudden increase in temps. Oh yea my gpu is a gtx 960.

you're clever haha but that didn't solve the problem

is it extra hot these days where you live tho?

a 5 degrees increase is probably caused by that

also you could try cleaning your dust filters and fans if you have time to kill

I know the GPU is only half a month old, but maybe if you want you could change out the thermal paste.

The increase could also be from an increase in ambient temperature.

CPU: i5 6600k OCed to 4.5Ghz @ 1.35v, GPU: R9 390 Nitro, Motherboard: Asus z170-A, CPU Cooler: H100i GTX, RAM: HyperX 2x8 16gb DDR4, PSU: Seasonic x650, Storage: 850 EVO 500gb, WD 1tb blue, Case: H440 White/Black

Thats probably like a last resort thing as I am not familiar with that king of stuff. And yea it might be the ambient temperature but i'm gonna have to wait till the end of the day today to see if it is.
