Tomb Raider or Driver issues?

GPU? PSU? what exactly is the crash? BSOD? driver fail and recover?

I'm trying to play tomb raider on steam and I've never played it on windows 8.1 before I upgraded it. I recently upgraded to win 10 and now tomb raider crashes after some play time. Please help!

 

 

You got the latest drivers? Also what does the crash do? Just force you back to home screen (With any messages) or is it a complete system crash?

The crash I have gotten lately I can't remember the name but it has to do with the processor not knowing what to do/driver issue. I have a 500watt psu with specs for my comp listed on my profile.

While Corsair CX units are rather low quality I doubt it's the culprit - likely the newer driver. Check the 15.7.1 issue list.

Unresolved driver issues are written here. These are the known ones. Check this first before blaming the GPU ;)

What exactly am I looking for?

Known issues - look for yours. If it's not there, it might not be the driver's fault.

I suggest re installing the latest drivers, then checking the integrity of your tomb raider by visiting in game properties in steam. If that fails to get it going its likely a new driver issue, you may have to wait for a driver update from AMD.
