I'm having a really hard time trying to restore my windows installation from a backup I made using Backup and Restore. I have the backup located on the D drive and I'm trying to restore it onto the C drive. I can clearly see the folder labeled WindowsImageBackup that has my backup of Windows. But whenever I click on "System Image Recovery" from a bootable Win 10 USB, it says "Windows cannont find a system image on this computer." WHY? I have most of my important file backed up on another hard drive but I would really really like to restore this installation because it has all my software and programs just the way I like them.

I have even disconnect the D drive from SATA and plugged it in using a SATA to USB dongle thing and it still isn't finding it.

Any help?
