computer not posting

so i found this hp computer in my garage

im trying to get it to work so i can sell it

 

it has an i7 950 on an hp board (pegatron something)

i used the ram in another system not long ago so they should work

 

two days ago every time i run it it would say system fan error 

so i skipped the message and went into bios

but the bios kept freezing

 

and yesterday i tried to start it again it just stopped working

 

tried another monitor and another video output but dont seem to work

 

 

(btw i know there is no hard drive connected. i want to test it out before getting a cheap hard drive for it)

Are the fan(s) spinning when you power it on? Or is he actually powering on?

yes they do

it used to spin at full speed for 2 seconds and the slow down (cpu fan), but now it just spins at full speed the whole time

Try clearing CMOS and unplug everything for a bit. Then plug everything back together and try to see if it boots.
