So I got a free case from a friend of mine in a retail store. The case was an empty demo shell for a computer they had on sale, so even though it looks like a retail model there's nothing inside except the front I/O headers. This unfortunately includes the case mounted USB. There's two ports at the front of the case and two at the top but they're totally empty. I'd like to use this case (as it came for the low, low cost of free) but I need the USB ports.

The motherboard I got (for nearly free) only has USB 2.0 headers.

What I basically need (and cannot find for the life of me) is this: http://www.amazon.com/StarTech-Motherboard-4-Pin-Header-USBMBADAPT/dp/B000IV6S9S

Except I need the cord to be about a meter or half a meter long so it will reach and be manageable, and I want the full 9 pin mobo header and two USB ports. My failure to find this on Newegg or Moddiy or Amazon has me considering a tutorial I saw where a guy made one with an Ethernet cable, though I'd like to avoid that. I know these exist because pretty much every case comes with them already, I just can't find them for sale.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
