Whenever I launched the MediaCreationTool to upgrade Windows 10 it loaded then said,

Something happened

x80070002 - 0x20016

Anyone know how I could fix it / what is causing this?

(I downloaded the MediaCreationTool directly from Microsoft.com and I got the 64-bit version which I double checked and I do indeed have.)

Is your USB drive large enough? Did you choose upgrade or create an ISO image?

I was going to use it to upgrade and just stored it on my desktop, also I never was able to select upgrade or ISO image, it came up with an error immediately.

honestly, I gave up and went to bed, and the windows 10 button was there the next day.
