So I'm debating whether I have to do a clean install for windows 10 or not. I'm asking because I honestly forgot if I lose everything or not. I had to do it once before cause my raid 0 HDD had a problem (one of the drives was corrupted), but I completely forgot what I get to keep. I'm a bit worried because I almost have 3 terabytes of data (games and videos) and I do NOT want to lose everything.I would've done a back up but I don't have some spare drives. But I do want to do a clean install since I have a lot of bloatware and my pc is starting to be a bit slow. I have a few games with steam and the rest is either from origin or it's from nosTEAM. Again I don't really care about the apps but since my os is now on an SSD do I disconnect the other drives where I have everything on and my other ssd where I have my games and just install win10 while only my 840 evo is connected?

And another question, if I do get a clean install, will I lose my progress in steam games like skyrim or is everything saved on steam's servers? Thank you for the help!

Steam saves some games saves in the cloud skyrim is one of them, but some of them do not in the properties if there is no steam cloud sync then you will have to manually back them up.
