Hi everyone...I had an amd HD5570 gpu which died recently.I am thinking on buying a new 7770 and here i need your help.Will me crapy 400watt psu handle the 7770 the ancient Q9300 cpu the three hdd's or i have to firstly upgrate the psu???I am going to definatly going to upgrate it but i don't know which to do first...The gpu looks more urgent but if i bought the card and then the psu die it might take the card or something else with it...I am concidering to buy this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371058

A 400w unit would suffice, but it depends on the quality of the unit, along with it's age really. Especially with a low-end unit, it may not be able to output 400w after a couple of years, so I would recommend replacing your current one anyways.

Arranged in order of acesnding quality. While 450w is more than enough for a rig like that, I've also included a 550w option if you wish to have some headroom for future upgrades.

It's a better power supply anyway and it will be fine for a 7770. Overkill really.

I would also recommend this PSU because this is 80plus bronze certified, so the psu will will 80% efficient which saves your energy bills.
