Hey all,

I'm about to upgrade to windows 10. I was wondering, though, if there's a way to backup the iso onto a USB drive so that I can perform a clean install in the near future when I upgrade my ssd.

Also, do I get a new security key when I upgrade, or does it work with my windows 8 key?

Thanks

When you upgrade, the HWID of your computer is sent to the Microsoft servers, and you will be able to activate with a generic key. When Windows asks for the key, just skip it.

You can just copy the contents of the ISO to the USB and it will work, assuming your motherboard has UEFI.
