new router

I was wondering what I should look for in a new router. I live in a 3 floor house and need a router good enough for me to be able to get internet from anywhere. I would like quality of service  and vpn capabilities but I would like to keep it between 150 and 200, but if I need a bigger budget, I can get it

A R7000 is the best router in the price point, the Asus' don't compare in terms of throughput. Depending on what speed your trying to get, a VPN is not going to work out so well on a consumer router.
