fan for overclock

just wondering if the stock cooler for the FX 6300 would be fine to keep if i want to overclock it? i don't need to get the max clock or anything (maybe somewhere between 3.8-4.0) but i'm just wondering if it would still get too hot with the stock. i'd really hate to spend more money on a new cooler so if it gets too hot, i'd probably just keep it at stock clock. any thoughts? anyone?
