   Hello everybody!

I recently bought an asus laptop  ROG G751 and I would like to replace the HDD with an SSD. The problem is that I don`t know what interface it should be or how many slots is has. I also would like to know if I can raid 0 two SSD in this laptop. I`m asking for your help because I couldn`t find any kind of info that might have been helpful.

I would also like to know what ram chip should I get, because it already has an 8 gig chip installed and I have no idea what other chip to buy. Does it have to be the exact same model, or the memory and frequency are enough.

   Thanks a lot, guys !

PS: I cannot check the slots myself by opening up the laptop because the warranty is still active and the retailer from which i bought it will upgrade it for me at their service center, if I come with the components I wish to install.

Please, please, please learn how to upgrade your laptop your self as you will save loads of time and money in the future by doing it yourself. As for your questions, try to get same amount/frequency ram but the brand can be different and it looks like there is a M.2 socket/extra bay to put a SSD in

I assume it is a 2.5 inch HDD slot, so you could get basically any 2.5 inch ssd

I believe you have not read my PS. I could do it myself, I`ve done it before, but my warranty is the problem.
