Network attached storage troubles

I recently decided to refurbish an old pc by using it as a simple media server. So I threw a bunch of movies, songs and tv shows into a folder and mapped it as a network drive. I even changed the share properties to everyone however the only pc that can see that folder as a networked drive is the PC that's hosting it. Is there something else I have to do to make it visible? The drive letters arent overlapping with any other NAS

I set up a network server before, and it worked fine, and I did exactly what you did. Umm... Maybe check the internet connection to that PC.

internet connection is fine, all PCs are connected to the same network. Did you have to do anything with Homegroup?
