I've been seeing a lot of conflicting answers; will upgrading to Windows 10 wipe my hard drive? I've heard that it keeps all of your drives' contents, I've heard you have to make a new partition (and keep an old windows installed?), and that it wipes your drive.

If I have to wipe everything, that's fine, it just sucks to reinstall everything. So will it just upgrade and keep everything on my SSD and HDD intact or nah?

If you UPGRADE you don't need to make a new partition and it wont delete of your files. If you do a clean install you will lose all of your old files.

No. it's an upgrade. Everything you have stays where it is.

I just finished the upgrade and it kept everything intact. All of my files and applications are in the same place and everything is working perfectly. The only additional thing that it did was to create a Windows.old folder in case it missed something or you want to roll-back to your previous OS.
