Blocking W10 Update

So I have reserved a copy of W10 and I've been hearing that the upgrade is mandatory for those who reserve which I don't personally fancy at all. How do I disable this option, other than using my system recovery disk to wipe everything? (Basically nuke my own PC).

not sure but a good place to start would be to uninstall windows6.1-kb3035583 which makes it incompatible and that is only the "free upgrade tool" (from what i have found with an attempt at auto updating myself.)

You don't have to install it, and it won't install until it pops up a notification and tells you that it is possible to be installed. This makes sense, but I can't be 100% sure.
