So, I'm planning to make a build guide, and I already have the script done, and the parts have been ordered. As I've studied Linus' build guide videos, I realized I really, really enjoyed his introductions, so, as a learning exercise and part of the project, I've decided I want to make a linus-style introduction for my build guide. However, I have no idea how I would go about this: I gave some experience with game animations, as I'm a game programmer, but with a video clip that size I'm not sure how I would go about doing it. I'm thinking around 10-20 seconds, but that's pretty long.

Best regards,

I'm pretty sure they used after effects for thier intro animation. It's not the most intuitive program, but it's not too hard to get into (esp if you have some expirience animating/programming). I would look up either "mt. mograph" or "lee daniels art" on youtube and take a crack at some of thier tutorials. I work as a freelance animator/mograph artist and I use those guys totorials all the time! Hope that helps!
