Hello everyone!

I want to paint a bio-hazard or radiation symbol (can't decide yet) on the side of my PC case.

I was wondering if it was possible to do it with model paint or is it better to use a metal spray paint?

What material should I use to make a stencil? Do I need to apply any coats before the actual paint?

Is sanding required?

If anyone has done this kind of paint-job before, please let me know how to properly do it.

Thanks guys! :)

EDIT: I'm sorry for posting on the wrong section, I'm new to the forum...

@grayblizzard

Sorry, I'm new to the forum :P. I have a LC PRO925B LC600H-12 600W ATX MIDI case, mostly full metal sides, 2 sets of vent holes on the edgde tough.

to spray paint over the holes if on the side just take the panel off so yeh... and put them over something that can get painted:

now i am going to tell you that there are places you can get vinyl cut in certain colors that would adhere to your case better than paint and easily removable if needed so i would look into this instead as it is less hassle, easier to apply, easier to remove, and finally easier to be more precise with the image you want.
