Installing windows 8.1 without optical drive.

Go to solution Solved by HoiDaniel,

You need a 4GB USB-stick, a valid productkey and google.

You just type in 'How to install w8.1 with USB flash drive' and just look up a random tutorial. It's really easy, i did it 2 weeks ago.

I bought a copy of windows and it arrived by post, all that was in it was a copy of windows in disk format. I do not have a optical drive on my new pc so how would i go about downloading windows in a flash drive as i don't have a code or something to go with it.

I do have a laptop with a optical drive so can i burn the disk onto a flash drive?

nevermind i found a code for window's that goes with it but how do i install it onto a flash drive and then to my pc?
