1. 4K VSR (Virtual Super Resolution) support. GCN 1.0 limited to 2560x1440. Good for older game that is not demanding and have poor anti-aliasing implementation.

2. 4K recording support with hardware h264 encoder.

3. Improved tessellation performance and memory compression support.

4. DirectX 12 support with feature level 12_0. GCN 1.0 limited to feature level 11_1.

5. Proabably better driver performance in the future because it's AMD.

That is up for the game developer to implement, it's not automagically enable with any upcoming DX12 game.

1. 4K VSR is pretty irrelevant to me, 1440p is more than enough.

2. Again pretty irrelevant considering I'm on 1080p.

3. I turn off tessellation on GTA V. Would I notice a difference with it off?

4. How much will this affect performance? I saw a 370 box and it said it had support for DX12?

The only reason I'm asking, is because a 380 (Even a 285 for that matter) would set me back around $300 because of tax, and a 370 would put me around $250 with tax and shipping.

I asked a friend (AMD Fanboy if I may add) and he said the performance increase between GCN 1.0 and 1.2 is about 10% overall?

I also only have a 450w PSU and the TDP seems pretty high for my PSU. It also only has a single 6 pin connector.

The R7 370 is a refreshed R7 265, it's less powerful than the 270 in nearly every single way.

I know.. thats why the edit...
