I dont know which of these to get to go with my FX6300, if there is any other GPU's under £60 that is better just tell me.
What should I get for a GPU, Sapphire Radeon R7 240 2gb DDR3 or Sapphire Radeon R7 240 1gb GDDR5. Which one is better?
I would really appreciate some help.

GDDR5 is better than DD3. It's rather simple really. But if you can, get something better like the R7 260X since it's a lot better price:performance.

the Sapphire Radeon R7 240 1gb GDDR5 is better since it has faster ram, but those cards aren't worth it at all. Save up some money and buy a better one.

Thank you to both of you for the reply but I cant save anymore money and my GTX 660 broke so I had to downgrade to this but I can only spend £60 on a graphics card and I cant go on my PC till I get a new one. Also Don so is GDDR5 1GB VRAM better than DDR3 2GB VRAM?

Those cards are a waste of money, they cost little, but you won't get much out of them so they aren't really good for the performance to pound ratio. See if you can possibly afford a 265/270

Bro I cant put anymore money towards it, £60 is the most I can put towards it.

1 Gig of GDDR5 is a lot better than 2 gigs of DDR3.

Yeah its better than my current rig haha, right now im running a AMD Sempron 3850 APU and im using the built in graphics, honestly mate this is better than my current PC.

Okay then. If your stuck to those two cards this is my penny.

The 240 with 1gb of gddr5 memory is the best option, its not a good option, but its the best of what you have given us. I doubt that card has the power to push 2gb of memory, so 1gb of fast memory will serve you better.

I hope you can upgrade soon though, as I have a feeling your not going to be happy with the performance for very long, also know you are not likely to be able to play any of the AAA games from this year.
