Hi,

need a little help here. I´m going to build my first "real" PC next week, classic stuff these days - 1080p gaming,no upgrades few years.

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/wXzvGX

I know I would not use potential of Z97,but its almost same price as worse MB in my country (Czech Republic)

Any suggestions or advice (about parts, build, anything) really welcome.

Thanks in advance.

its sort of close to my spec i built mine because its way overkill for 1080p so 1 x 980ti would be better for you. worse performance but you could add another and no scaling issues

You could stand to try and upgrade the gpu a little, the FX cpu won't bottleneck a gpu thats a little more beefy. The 660 might not get you very high fps in newer games with high settings.

Edit: ignore me

This is a repost of the same build for someone else. If you can't go any higher with your budget, that's about the best you can get

You just posted the link to "partlist" and it showed what I had last in PCPartpicker  :D haha

I guess you could get a 980 ti if you don't want to have scaling issues unless the games you want to play supports SLI. I don't know though because I'm pretty sure the 970 sli either has the same or better performance than one 980 ti at 1080p. However, the GTX 980 ti has 6gb instead of 4gb (3.5gb fast memory) compared to the 970 and it's not really certain if pooled memory in sli is going to happen in Directx 12.

- You don't need any extra case fans, what comes with the case is enough in 9/10 cases (punny, CASES)

- You can fit an overclockable CPU and aftermarket cooler into your budget for just like $40 more, then less after rebates

- The 390 performs the same as the 970, except the 390 has 8gb of VRAM (8gb of FULL SPEED VRAM)

CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor  ($219.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Motherboard: Asus Z97-C ATX LGA1150 Motherboard  ($129.99 @ NCIX US)
Video Card: MSI Radeon R9 390 8GB Video Card  ($329.98 @ SuperBiiz)
Case: NZXT S340 (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case  ($59.99 @ Newegg)
Total: $918.30
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available
