Forum/TapTalk app problems?

The forum app "taptalk" keeps telling me there are new unread posts in threads I have JUST replied to, go to look and my post was the last post, press back then the "unread" marker goes away for a split second and comes back like there's a new post.. Sure enough there's not.. I'm getting frustrated any one else have tis issue or know how to fix it?
