I built my computer about 3 months ago and its been working fine up until today when i tried to turn it on and everything seems to work but nothing appears on my monitor and my gpu  (which is a sapphire vapor x 280x has indicator lights on it to show the load its under)  is stuck on a solid 2 lights and its supposed to flicker and nothing is happening and i'm thinking its my gpu. ive so far tried taking out my gpu, ram, hard drive, and put them back, ive also unplugged everything and plugged them back in and ive tried multiple monitors with multiple different display cables. I have no idea what else to do and I just want to use my computer so if anybody has ANY suggestions or anything to say please let me know so I can try to get it to work.

Start the pc without a GPU to test whether the problem solely lies on the GPU

Unfortunately, I don't know AMD cpus very well so I'm not sure if you can drive a display from your CPU but I agree with @OAcesync where you should try to take your gpu out and drive it from the cpu. If that works it is your gpu. If it doesn't work. Take one stick of RAM out, try to boot. Then do the opposite and try again and see if that works.

Will my comp start? the cpu doesn't have integrated graphics. sry if that's a stupid question

it will start but you wont be able to hook up a monitor so you wont see a picture

but if you have windows sounds on and have speakers it should have the windows turn on sound thingy (idk if 8/8.1 has it cause i never use windows sounds)
