Currently my pc case is the NZXT Source 220 (nice case that i got on sale for 29.99 :D) It has no filters at all, and i have to blow dust out every week. No idea why it gets dusty so fast, my desk is free of dust and i keep my room pretty clean. So this brings me to my question. I currently am on strict budget, and can't afford case fans that have filters on them, is there a website i can go to, to buy a big huge square dust filter that i can cut into pieces to make my own custom case filter? All the dust filters google leads me to are furnace filters and those won't work lol. Any feedback would be much appreciated!!!

You can always check out Silverstone's dust filters (they cover 140mm and 280mm fan mounts). They're not terribly expensive (the 280mm can be had for around $11 and the 140mm's are anywhere from $6-$8) and are magnetic. There are also plenty of other cheaper filters that are specifically sized for 120mm and 140mm fans as well, just search on amazon. Here's a list to get you started:

You could use a pantyhose for filters' date=' they're pretty cheap. Just stretch them out and some how attach them to your intakes. I haven't done it myself but I've heard a lot of people use this method. You could probably search around for more information.[/quote']

gonna try the pantyhose method lol. will try that out, and if it works, i'll use that til i have enough money saved to buy nice new fans w/ filters for my case or just buy a newer bigger, better case :D
