So I recently bought the Thrustmaster Ferrari RW Red Legend the wheel works perfectly but the pedals are complete shit or Im doing something wrong. First hour played perfectly then its automatically accelerating a tiny bit (60 kmh with f1) but then i went into the device section of the control panel and deleted the wheel and unplugged and plugged it in again and it works perfectly for 10 mins then it starts again. But now I have a new problem out of no where its braking instatly when i take my foot of the gas and thats probably the reason its to accelerating when im not pushing the gas now... So what im trying to say is that my wheel is accelerating and braking without my command. Please someone help me if you know why this is happening.....

I'm completely unfamiliar with the Thrustmaster equipment but I had vaguely similar issue with my Fanatec pedals. It would over rev/full rev when i wasn't touching the pedals or move incredibly slowly as the brake pedal was engaged etc. It came down to a grounding issue with the pedals themselves as they are powered but only came with an ungrounded plug (gotta love the electrical system in America). I ghetto'd my own grounding solution and the pedals behaved perfectly after that. Not sure what the plugs are like in Sweden but if the power going to them isn't grounded you might want to try it.

Testing the theory - safety first of course!

Was worth a shot. There aren't any updated firmware/drivers available are there?

Yeah no the last driver is from 2009 and whats up with thrustmasters support page its horrible the design is ancient and if they have a support email I couldn´t find it, I called but shitty support there to. The girl at the phone just said that I should go to the place I bought it from and ask for a new one and that she could in no way help me.......... A tip never buy low end stuff or things that won´t hold extremely well from thrustmaster or gigabyte both those coompanies have shitty support I learned that when I built my pc 1 month ago (my first)...

honestly, seems nicely done solution, so is it just the one plug now? You wouldn't think grounding would be an issue on a wheel. Seems like the OPs issue is different.

What do you mean about the electrical system in the US? What's it like there? Grounded receptacles have been standard in Canada for a long time now.

I basically took the standard 2 prong plug and cut the end off, then ran a copper wire (attached to the racing frame seat that the wheel and pedals are bolted to) and connected the 3 wires up to a 3 prong grounded plug, then taped and sleeved it all. ANd yes it definitely seems like the OP has a completely different issue as theirs is connected only via USB for power and the PC will be grounded.

Well I am from the UK but apparently prior to the 60s or 70s  grounded circuits in the US weren't required so there are a lot of old properties that still don't have it - or have 1 or 2 retro fitted grounded sockets installed. For me it's just the frequency I see 2 pin plugs attached to everything that makes me sad and the fact that they don't (legally) care if an electrical circuit is deathly dangerous as long as it was created 40 years ago. I don't like seeing sparks jump out of sockets every time I plug stuff in.

Yes I have triend recalibrating the pedals if u mean the calibration tool from thrustmaster and they randomly get fixed and then go back to being ffed again when i unplug them and then re plug
