OS installation help

Hi,

I was wondering how I would install windows onto a new computer that I might built that doesn't have an optical drive. How would you do this, also considering that I only have Macs to work with

Use the USB drive and rufus

ahhhh I wasn't. But great idea. I was thinking of hooking up a internal cd drive. Download windows. And taking it out.

I was also wandering if I could just buy an optical drive, temperarily hook it up (case, noctis 450, doesnt have 5.25" bays) just like lying on the desk with the side panel off, install windows and then dis connect it? would this work?

yes and that's what I said

Of course you can, but you might as well try a bootable usb (if you have one greater or equal to 4GB of storage capacity) to save some money.

Yes, but external drives aren't that expensive either. You never know...
