Hey guys!  :D

I am right about to make my first well-informed build (tonight or tomorrow), and was wondering about fans and fan setup. I have the following:

1x NZXT H440

Front: 3x 120mm FN V2 (stock)

Rear: 1x 140mm FN V2 (stock)

1x CM Nepton 240M

Included: 2x 120mm

I was planning of configuring the fans like this:

- Have the 3x 120mm in the front pull air inside

- Have the 1x 140mm in the rear push air out

- Install the Nepton 240M in the top, pulling air out

My concerns/questions is:

1. Will I be able to maintain positive air pressure with this setup?

2. Should I change the rear to intake instead so I have 4 pull and 2 push?

3. If 2, should I add a third 120mm pulling at the top, beside the two on the radiator?

4. Since the front of the case is so chocked, should I get SP fans instead? If so, which ones, and can they be silent?

My full build looks like this: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/LNkjMp (Allready bought it)

Please note that I plan to add a second GPU in the future, and possibly minor overclocking  :)

Any input much appreciated!

That would be ideal.

Make sure not to scratch the side panel !

Yes fans are perfect like that.

And yes don't scratch that window like i did :-/

As for Front Fans, i would reccomend something along the lines of noctuas/corsair sp120s

I will try not to !

So the ideal would be to replace the front with three SP fans for pull, and 1 AF extra in the top? Reversing the rear to a pull?  :)

Edit: Or did you mean my initially planned configuration?

So should I just change the front fans, or switch the back configuration as well? :)

And do you think the extra fan in the top, will make a difference?

The stock fans are probably enough if you don't run some insane setup with 2/3 290xs

I don't think so, the 3rd fan is in kind of a useless spot IMO.

Keep your initial fan config.

Also no need to swap the fans, it's a waste of money

Recommend what is best, not what you preffer.

Sound like you two are on the same page, so I guess the right thing would be to keep the initial setup and:

- Have the 3x 120mm in the front pull air inside

- Have the 1x 140mm in the rear push air out

- Install the Nepton 240M in the top, pulling air out

Thank you for your responses guys  :D
