Network blocks certain actions?

I'm going to change this to solved. I believe the issue is actualyl from my ISP.

See, my wi-fi runs 2 lines, one is Optus NBN, and the other is TPG. But they both run together through the router, so while on TPG, it blocks the site. There's a plethora of threads about TPG blocking things like LoL and reddit, and this has been going on for about 18-24 months. No one from TPG has come out and said anything about this issue that I'm aware of.

Just thought to write this in the slight chance someone googled this issue and this came up. Check your ISP, and check to see if others have experienced blocked sites while with that ISP

Hey guys, I have no idea what to call this, so I can't google it :/ Any help would be much appreciated!!!


So, my home network has been...weird. At first, I couldn't sign into my uni account through the uni website (about 90% of the time it would just refresh the page). But when I enter my details incorrectly, I would get the "Username or Password is wrong", so it's not just refreshing, it 'knows' I have been entering my details correctly, but it wouldn't bring up my home page.

New internet line, now on the NBN Optus (Australia) and that problem as been solved.

However, now with this new line, I can't watch AnimeLab from the app from my iPad. I would get "A problem has occured: Unable to play video". I emailed animelab tech support and they offered help but nothing did, and that my problem seemed like a network issue. Today at uni, I tried to watch an episode from the app and WAAALAAA, it worked, which just supports the theory that its an issue with my home network 'blocking' something.

I know this isn't enough information, but I will try to keep checking this post as much as I can to try to answer any questions you lovely people ask to help me resolve this issue.

I'm just so confused and helpless :(

Try changing the DNS servers you're using.

What should I change it to? Default is 192.168.1.1. I tried 8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4 and although I had internet access, it didnt solve my problem :(

EDIT: I just did 'forgot this network' and re-entered the WKey and the default DNS has changed 122.150.x.x (i forget the rest).So i just checked to see if it solved my problem but it didn't :/
