Help with Booting

So i'm trying to boot Windows 7 home premium OEM from my systems optical drive on a brand new computer, and i press a key and nothing shows up or boots, then when i go to change the boot order it doesnt show my optical drive for one of the boot options, can someone help me? THe sata cables are connected and i connected them on different parts too, Please help! I have a ASRock h97 pro4 motherboard
