Hi guys first time poster long time lurker here,

Basically I am upgrading my CPU to an FX8350 and in turn will have to upgrade my mobo BUT i need one that is compatible with 2 Powercolor R9 280x cards and im struggling to find one another factor is i would prefer a red color scheme. 

Any suggestions as I am lost :)

Getting a FX-8350 is not a good choice as a upgrade 99.9% of the time.

When your going from a locked Sandy bridge 670qm then yea it sure is ha-ha, *edit* it all depends on what he is using now, just because it's old and out dated doesn't mean it's bad or not an upgrade.

gaming and 3d image rendering and my current cpu is a x4 965

Then an FX is an upgrade lol, on the Intel side you don't really get much in that price range if you do a lot of rendering and heavy work load stick with the FX(go 8320 and oc it.. Its cheaper and they are the same chip on different frequencies) if you do more gaming and causal workload go with an intel.

the 150 is just for the cpu i have around 100 for the mobo
