Hi,

i wish to reach out to K90 keyboard owners about what they think of the product, is it worth buying, had any problems?

i know the K95 has been released but they may take awhile to get to my country.

Ive read threads and watched videos of people having the "stuck" issue where keys repeat until another key is pressed causing the repetition of letters over and over

also another problem is dead LED's on the keys theres a video with a guy having to RMA the keyboard for the 3rd due to dead keys.

anyway is it just bad luck they have or is it a known issue and should i avoid this product

i love the look and the feel of the keys as i went and played on a demo one at a store, but if these are common issue i may just avoid this.

also firmware updates for the keyboard was another issue.

thanks

Chris

I own a K90, it's a thing of beauty, and the only problem i've had is some software corruption ( Just had to delete the drivers and R/I ) But yeah, some keys do stick if you're mashing them... other than that it's amazing :) hope this helped in anyway.

It's really awesome! The aluminum deck is aesthetically clean and the blue back lighting is beautiful. The membrane keys have a more subtle white backlight which really helps for distinguishing the keys at night, on top of the tactile difference. Each key is soft-touch plastic, almost rubberized in feel, and the raised switches really make this keyboard unique. The keyboard hides stains and marks well, however the wrist rest (which is fairly nice, by the way) does gather some silver streaks from friction, however they polish out easily enough. The media keys are kind of a let down, they are plastic and feel cheap, and they don't travel evenly, however they always work when you press them, so it's not a deal breaker. The volume scroller is built well and works excellently. One of the highlights of the keyboard, for me, is the bank of lights which mark NumLock, CapsLock and ScrollLock. They are a pure white which looks absolutely stunning. I didn't find the bank of programmable keys as useful as I thought I would, I only use about four of them regularly, however, as they are located on the left of the keyboard they never get in the way of my mouse. I am very pleased with it, and you will be too!
