ive got windows 7 home premium 64 bit and i want to install 32gb ram for video editing however win 7 home premium only supports 16gb.... ive read that the upgrade to windows 10 will allow you to have 128gb of ram... is that true

If it follows the same route as windows 8 did it will be 128GB

Well for Windows 8.1 you can use up to 128gb on the normal version.

So I assume it will be the same for 10.

It will be the same as Windows 8 unless they changed something meaning that the standard version of Windows 10 will have a 128GB limit on the 64bit version and 4GB on 32bit as usually while the Professional and Enterprise versions of the OS will have a limit of 512GB on the 64bit version and again 4GB on 32bit.
