Hey all.

I have a problem with my "new" ram.

Specs:

CPU: i7-2600

Mobo: Gigabyte GA-P67-DS3-B3 (rev. 1.0)

Ram: Kingston HyperX Fury 8GB 1886MHz

OLD Ram: ADATA 2000G 3x2GB 1333MHz

PSU: Seasonic M12II 620W Evo

GPU: Gigabyte R9 290 Windforce

SSD: Kingston HyperX 3K 120GB

HDD: Toshiba DT01ACA200 2TB

Case: NZXT S340

Problem:

So few months i upgraded my ram and everything worked perfectly right away. But yesterday when i wanted to turn on my pc it went into a loop and didnt even want to post. So I tried moving my stick into all slots but it didnt work. After that I put in my old ram and everything worked fine.

Then I tried puting 1 of my old sticks and the new stick in and it went into a loop again.

I tried the ram in a different PC and it worked fine right away.

So if anyone has any ideas what could help i would be very happy.

Thanks!

There is only 1 stick of new ram and it worked perfectly for few months (I was only using 1 8gb stick) untill yesterday when it started going into a loop.

But when i put my old ram sticks in and the new stick out the PC boots up just fine.

I also tested my new stick on another PC and it also worked fine.

Can you clear CMOS on your board? Or reset the bios to default? Did you overclock something?
