Hi,

I found this component provided with my motherboard but am not sure what it exactly is.

It looks like a front panel connector or something. Though i already plugged some front io which looks like this.

Please advise. Motherboard  is an Asus Sabertooth 990FX R2.0

The USB 2.0 front panel connector.

Ok.

Just that or anything else????

Becoz i got a corsair carbide 300R which has two 3.0 ports and no front 2.0s.

You can use it for any standard USB 2.0 hub connection. i.e. Corsair Link connection, Media card reader, etc. etc.
