AWS isn't worth it in most peoples use cases, you pay for bandwidth which gets expensive unless you have enough money stream coming in to pay for it. I'd pay for a VPS that gives your at least 1 TB of bandwidth a month.

I mean I have a friend who used the 12 month free tier, and they are still letting him use it. It's been 18 months. 

It has the most features of all free stuff.

Not AWS but I've started playing around in Microsoft Azure. For those who weren't aware Azure does support Linux VMs, so there's that :P
