PC Speaker Setup

Go to solution Solved by Guest,

I'm not sure a center channel is warranted for near-field listening at the computer.

I would just get the PB42X, which are powered. The MB42 require an amplifier.

So I wanted to revamp my PC Audio setup from 2.1 Computer Speakers to a Stereo/Center Bookshelf setup, and I have no idea what to buy in order to properly power/connect these speakers to my pc:

Stereo

Center

BTW i'm a newb at audio so please feel free to make a better suggestion in terms of what to buy.

I just want good audio quality with some bass, and enough power to fill a small room. The center channel is only there because i can get both for around 100$.

Thanks
