Hello guys, me and my brother want to build a gaming PC as its been a dream of ours but not sure how to go about picking the parts.

We can build it but knowing what to get is causing us to be a bit befuddled and unsure. Thanks to the Build Guide I can make sure you get  all the know and me and my brother greatly

appreciate the help with getting us on track.

We live in Florida, zipcode is 32680

Budget is 1000$
Main use of the PC is for Gaming like all the top games (Far Cry 4 as a example but also Battlefront & Battlefield 4) but also editing (for myself as gaming videos and such) and 3D Modelling (for my brother)

We'd like the components to be reliable, good quality, and have great customer support

We intend to overclock but however need a operating system (Windows 8 and up is fine)

Spare Parts are: 2 DVD Driver, 500 GB Memory Drive, and a Case (unless it comes with some deal for free)

Got Monitor, keyboard, and Mouse

Don't need anything wireless

We do plan of hooking up another Monitor as to have total of two

Oh and we plan to upgrade as we go. (like parts)

Hope this is everything and I do apologize if ain't but if it is I do thank you with my brother for those who help out and give advice with our dream. Have a great day/night!

Here's what I came up with. I went with i5 and evo that should afford you a reasonable overclock on your CPU and be sufficient for gaming and some editing. You could upgrade the GPU to a 390x but I really think the 390 is a much better value proposition and will do fine for any and all AAA games at 1080p and even 1440p or multiple monitor set ups.

That ssd is terrible. It's the pc equivalent of the black plague. Get the BX100. The 390/390x can fit in this budget and still would do fine in editing, and be better in gaming by far. Possible 16gb of ram since 3d rendering and stuff. What's the case you guys already have? We need to know what'll fit inside.

You already have a hard drive, and you can always get more storage, so I just added an ssd. Chose the xeon cause it performs like an I7, just without the igpu, so you don't even need to overclock, not to mention it has hyper threading, so it's going to kick ass at gaming and any kind of editing/rendering. Assuming your case can fit everything on here, so that's why there is none. R9 390x cause it'll still do fine at the rendering/editing/ and 3d stuff, plus it'll kick the 970's and the 980's ass at gaming, not to mention it's powerful enough to run games 1440p and 4k.

Thanks for all the help so far, defiantly appreciate your time and effort with this. Monitor is 1440 x 900 resolution, and 16:10 aspect ratio. Case is, for a lake of comparatively term, a old beast from yonder. A Dimension 9100, looked inside and everything would seem to fit but we can buy a Case if push comes to shove.
