This is my first pc build i would love feedback !

CPU:Intel i5 4690k

CPU Cooler:Coolermaster hyper evo 212

GPU:Msi R9 390

Motherboard:Msi z97 Gaming 5

Ram:(2x4)8gb Kingston HyperX Fury (red) 1600mhz

Hard Drive:1TB Western Digital Blue 

SSD:128GB Sandisk

Power Supply:Coolermaster v650

Case:Coolermaster 690 iii

Case fans:2x Sickleflow red Led

Monitor:2x LG 1080p IPS

I doubt you will get any good oc with a hyper 212 on the cpu.

You can save some bucks and get the i5 4690

What's your budget and location?

You can save some bucks and get the i5 4690

good build but get a bigger SSD. Like a samsung 850 evo 250gb min. Hell i would scrap the hdd and get a 500gb if possible.

Also go with 16gb of ram instead of 8.

 

also you should list what monitor you are getting.

What's your budget and location?

It costs me €1035 and ireland.I know there is builds for $1000 that are similiar and if not better but its expensive over here the tax is high and the € is weak

The temps aren't suitable for higher clock speeds, and a 212 will struggle to keep temps down especially on load

Why 16gb of ram ? is 8gb not enough just for gaming?

i wont be doing a heavy overclock just to 4ghz

He doesn't need that much RAM unless of course he will start rendering or editing

I will be overclocking to 4ghz no more wont be rendering or editing this build is just for gaming

Why 16gb of ram ? is 8gb not enough just for gaming?

in some situations yes. I've hit 8gb of ram in GTA V. If you use chrome it also eats ram like crazy.

with gaming you'll be fine OCing to 4.4 or 4.6ghz even on the evo 212 cuz gaming only uses about 50% cpu usage while rendering is 100%. 

 

Also if you are paying full retail on the r9 390, 420 + tax, you are better off getting a used GTX 980 on eBay.

Im only paying 380 for the msi r9 390 gpu
