Hello here are the values I'm getting from AMD CCC:

Activity: 0%

GPU Clock: 308MHz

Memory Clock: 1250MHz

Power: 0%

Temperature: 74C

Fan speed: 20%

There is something definitely wrong. My cooling is fine for the rest of my case, especially with a 4.2GHz OC for my i7 950. Has anyone else had these problems before with the same/similar card from AMD?

Note: I use two monitors

Must be old thermalpaste or bad airflow in the case or the fan isn't working.

That's fine, take the card out and re-paste and remove dust.

you're best bet would be to clean out dust from the case and add new paste to the card

I have no idea, on how to apply paste to a GPU unfortunately, but I cleaned my case out last week there with a high powered air blower.

Is it that hard to search something? :P If you don't want to do this send it back for warranty if you still have it.

Here is the temps as of re-applying the thermal compound on the gpu itself.

Still quite high but better than before.

I'm sure that's the temps I got on mine. It's just a hot running card
