HDD adapter compatibility issue

I found the adapter for an ide drive im gonna add to my build soon. Anyone know if it supports windows 8?

Also... when looking at item OS compatibility specs, Even if the item does list compatibility with windows 7/8. Does that mean they might also be compatible with windows 7/8 at any chance????
