I've decided to get a 500GB 850 evo to expand my system, probably install some games in it. Currently i have a Plextor M5pro 256GB + 1TB HDD (it might die soon).

I thought of cloning my stuff on the M5pro (yes, the OS is on it) to the 850 Evo and then using the now empty M5pro solely to install games, with the 850 Evo as a mix of applications and small size games.

Is this a viable setup? Or should i just leave the M5pro alone and install the 850 Evo. The 850 Evo does have a better 4k read/write speed which affects the OS startup. Should i use a lower performance SSD for games and a higher performance one for the OS and main applications? A bit of a newb at this.
