Has anyone played The Evil Within?

I found it for what looks like a great price of $12 on Greenmangaming.

 

Is it a good PC Port? Also if possible give me your general opinion on the game.

It's a solid game of you liked RE4,it's not perfect, but was underrated in its original launch

Also performance isn't great 40fps on a 760 in full screen 1080

The game has changed a lot since then. The video merely sums up how it was at launch.

The game now includes a 30fps uncap and full screen option rather than letterbox.

dlc is meant to be really good to.

In a funny way....it's so bad that it's great though.

I never finished it. I just couldn't. Not because I'm not capable. I just couldn't make myself do it.

 

You're going to love it or hate it.

No one can tell you if it's good or not.

 

I would have enjoyed it more if not for the original price.

Haven't played it but it looks fun, although the optimization is pretty shitty.

There's a demo on steam, after playing the demo I'll never ever tuch the game again.

It's well worth $12.

 

If you like true survival horror (low ammo/health reserves, etc..) third person over the shoulder shooters you'll enjoy it.

 

Environments and set pieces are well done.
