since i built my pc ive always had this kernel power problem and quite frankly im sick of it.

when i lunch a game it will load up ill get threw the menus but when i get in game and start doing something like look around my monitors turn off a hear a buzz threw my speakers and then it will ideal for a minutes then reboot. it logs a power kernel problem every time (event 41 task 63)

one way i have found to get past this problem is turning off all my CASE mounted fans until my gpus up to 80oC then ill turn them back on and it most of the time works

i tend to notice this more when its cold as of right now its a wiping 4oC in my room

gpu 780ti

rest of my specs are listed om my profile

Have you checked to see if any cables are loose? It might be worth downloading bluescreen viewer to see if there's anything more specific causing the problem.

  • 2 weeks later...

Can you not search windows explorer for any .dmp files? Also I did a quick search on the internet, the default location for crash dumps should be  %LOCALAPPDATA%\CrashDumps
