Hey guys, I'm looking at the corsair 500r mid tower, and was wondering if the NZXT Kraken X60 would fit and where at. Also, I know this isn't the Graphics card section but didn't want to make 2 threads which should I go for a HD 7950 or a GTX 770?

Thanks, Swind!

with the gpu thing get a 7970 free games wooo. anyways i dont think an x60 will fit. A single rad will do fine however. A corsair 600T will fit it fine. Or a nzxt phantom which is bloody awesome and goes for quite cheap these days.

another issue with the x60 install is that Corsair uses a 20mm fan spacing mount

as the x60 uses a 15mm fan mount spacing. so you get to drill/dremel the holes to

accommodate the attaching the radiator cause.

the H100i is a better choice.

as for the GPU, are you ever going to consider custom water-cooling? if so that

card you have selected has a GPU block available. some of the performance

coolers have a non-reference PCB and sometimes can be a PITA to find blocks

for.

NO SSD?! a deffo staple for late model builds. even just enough to hold the OS is

pretty good to have.

PSU is pretty good, but if no CFX/SLI is in the future, you can downgrade that to

a 550w PSU.

other than that, you got  good build going..

Right now money doesn't point to a ssd, if I come across more money before I order everything I will add an ssd. Also About the Crossfirex, same applies as the ssd if money permits I will get another.
